Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin: Biden has transformed us into a “town of the sanctuary”

The governor of Virginia Glenn Youngkin, republican, joined Fox News “Hannity” to discuss the management of President Donald Trump illegal immigration with respect to its predecessor.

Youngkin’s appearance comes after Henrry Josue Villaoria Santos, a member of the MS-13 band that had been in the United States for over a decade, was arrested in Virginia.

Santos was taken in custody for a suspended mandate and was accused possession of illegal weapons after a search for his home.

Youngkin was decisive to help an Interagency Task Force with the operation, including the FBI and the Department of Justice.

In a few weeks, the Task Force arrested 28 members of the MS-13 band, 19 members of the Tren de Aragua gang and dozens of other members in trans-organized crime.

Speaking with “Hannity”, Youngkin chased Biden for “transformed America into a state of the sanctuary”. He then praised President Donald Trump’s leadership for taking a harder position on illegal immigration.

“Today, this collaboration between the State Police, our corrections department, national security, the FBI, the ice and many people from the office of the American prosecutor-we are going to work and have fallen one of the best MS-13 agents in America,” said Youngkin. “And let me tell you, Virginia is safer.”

Youngkin said he did not have this level of cooperation between the state and federal government during the Biden administration.

“I hadn’t had it for three years. And as soon as President Trump showed up, we went to work,” said Youngkin. “And we are making America and Virginia safer.”
