Wales excited to save the “legend” Joe Allen in North Macedonia – David Brooks

Wales is second in group J which started their search to book a place at the 2026 World Cup taking four points from their first two qualifying games, with a home victory over Kazakhstan preceding the draw of North Macedonia.
Wales is unbeaten in eight games under Bellamy, who took control after Rob Page’s release last summer, while looking forward to June qualifications at home in Liechtenstein and the favorites of the Belgium group.
Despite the draw of the last gap, there was a certain frustration for Wales that moved away from Northern Macedonia with a point instead of three given the control that they enjoyed for long spells.
“It was obviously a very interesting ending and I think the performance guaranteed a victory,” said Brooks.
“We would like six points from the first two games, but the circumstances in which we were, are not a bad four points.
“Let’s move on to the summer and try to do you are there.”
