Whitebark takes control of SA hydrogen-helium explorer

Alinya is just south of the Amadeus southern basin in a place that many consider some of the best Australian Australian soils to explore natural white hydrogen, helium and natural gas.

A few years ago, Santos and his partner of Joint Venture Central Petroleum took a strong position in the southern Amedeus, identifying the high -level subsalal objectives.

The objectives are sealed under the layers of thick and waterproof salt, which is ideal for trapping large gas basins. A structure, Mt Kitty, was perforated at 2259 meters and flowed to 500,000 cubic feet per day, revealing 65 billion cubic feet (BCF) of natural gas, 31bcf of hydrogen and 39bcf of helium.

Near Dukas is an even larger perspective with an estimated P50 resource of 1.2 trillion cubic feet (TCF) of gas, 253 BCF of hydrogen and 200 BCF of Elio. Although the first well perforated to Dukas has been interrupted at 4704 but the cause of the high pressure, agriculture interviews are underway to pierce a second.

In the meantime, King Energy has identified up to 20 new perspectives in similar source rocks and geological traits, including three exciting subsali targets, which potentially hold a huge 1TCF at 4 4.5 TCF.

For Whitebark, the move to grab the control of King Energy and his perspective Aldeya Asset marks the culmination of an ambitious pin towards the green transition energy, which has been perfectly timed when the government of South Australia accelerates its bold hydrogen strategy.

Any commercial discoveries of natural gas are prepared to become more and more precious.
