Will the return of Sparkle of Fa Cup, but will man city prevent the “end of the fairy tale”?

Palace, Forest and Villa will all believe they have the fire power to prevent City from winning the cup for the second time in three years.

The last season without City trophies came at the end of the first year of Guardiola’s mandate in 2016-17.

And in the forest they face a six -point club above them in the championship and who won four of their five previous meetings in FA Cup, dating back to 1902.

“Pep has always taken national competitions seriously and is an excellent record that he has,” said the former Manchester United Roy Keane captain on ITV.

“The two semifinals are difficult to call. They are two really good games.

“Nottingham Forest is going well. They have had good breaks with the shootings, but they are more than able to sit and beat the city.”

The building was eliminated from Villa in all three campaigns of the England Cup in which they met.

In addition to a trip to Wembley, the villa of Unai Emery is also preparing to face Paris St-Germain in the quarterfinals of the Champions League and are still in the running for a first finish line in the championship.

Emery said: “We can take two goals through the England Cup – to get a trophy and play in Europe. In such a case, it’s fantastic.

“Being consistent in the Premier League is truly the (main) goal that we have, but being as we are now, in FA Cup, we must enjoy with supporters because this competition means a lot for them.”

But the building will not be an easy task for Villa, with only Liverpool in a better shape than Eagles in the last 10 league games.

Head Oliver Glasner said: “I think it is something special that the two semifinals are played in the same stage of the final and this is something very English. I like it very much and we will be ready in four weeks to win this game.”

Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, the former goalkeeper of Middlesbrough and Fulham Mark Schwarzer, he added: “Here’s what the England Cup is about: being able to dream.

“(It is a possibility for) clubs that may not necessarily think they have the opportunity to win the England Cup but are now in a great position to rewrite the story.”
