Willie Kirk: Leicester WSL’s former boss wants the second chance after the relationship with the player

“I knew there was a code of conduct, I signed it like everyone else,” Kirk said. “As a manager of the first team you are there to give the example and that’s why I never said I shouldn’t have been fired.
“I was brought to a meeting on Friday, 30 minutes before training and I was questioned about it.
“Sometimes I think I should have denying and bringing him to the grave, but I don’t think he would sit well with me. I just admitted it.”
Kirk was separated from his ex -wife when the relationship started, when the player suffered an injury. The couple traveled in Italy together in the international break of February and the club was made aware shortly after.
Kirk accepts that a line had been crossed and said that if he had his time he would be done differently.

If we still feel in this way we can do something about it’.”
Kirk had a permanent contract when he was fired but did not receive any compensation because the club found him committed a serious conduct.
It was only two Leicester games from its release and regretted the way of his departure.
