Winnipeg Jets’ Nikolaj Ehlers wounded against Blackhawks after collision with the watched NHL

CHICAGO – The Winnipeg Jets Nikolaj Ehlers wing collided with a linesman during the second period and left the game with an apparent accident in the right leg. The skating of Ehlers was captured under the watches of the NHL James Tobias’ skate along the axes.

It seemed like an harmless collision, with Ehlers who incurred himself unconsciously in the guarding on the blue line of the Blackhawks while waiting for a passage of breakouts. But after being prone to the ice for a minute or two, Ehlers had to be helped by the teammates Adam Lowry and Mason Appleton, who led him from the ice. Ehlers did not put any weight on the right leg and did not return for the third period. The guard, Tobias, remained in the game.

Ehlers is the third marker of the Jets League with 63 points in 68 games.
