Woman accused of killing 3 people in Ontario unsuitable for being tried, rules of the court
A Court of Toronto has established that a woman accused of having killed three people in three cities of Ontario last year is unable to be tried right now and must undergo psychiatric care.
Sabrina Kauldhar, 30 years old, was arrested in October and accused of a first -degree murder count and two second -degree murder counts.
The accusations refer to three deaths that the police said that it took place for three consecutive days in Toronto, in the Niagara and Hamilton waterfalls in early October.
The court documents show that a judge has established Thursday that Kauldhar is unable to be tried right now, and a 60 -day psychiatric treatment has been ordered before being re -evaluated.
The Court of Justice of Ontario had ordered the assessment of the suitability of Kauldhar to be tried following a question by the accusation.
The defense lawyers had initially asked for the evaluation, but they withdrawn their question by saying that Kauldhar had commissioned them to oppose.
